In a flight of books interrogating the material applications of transparency, this highlighted diptych explores censorship of literature through the use of opacity. Drawing from historically censored poetry, the diptych censors using opposite techniques:  hyper-transparency vs. extreme opacity.







Size - 4 x 6 inches;
Redact 0 - linen thread, acetate, acrylic, inkjet ink;
Readact 1 - linen book cloth, linen thread, book board, Mohawk paper, injet ink, sharpie.
