about c. amstutz !

Caroline Amstutz (they / them) is an M.Arch candidate at MIT’s School of Architecture and Planning, and a graduate of Washington University’s Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, where they earned their B.S. in Architecture magna cum laude and were awarded the school’s top honor, the Frederick Widmann Prize.

Caroline is passionate about careful craft and close reading – whether binding a book to marry form with content or studying each groove of a lichen-covered morsel of bark, they hope to create architecture that honors context, detail, and the natural environment.
